Paleontologist here....... Actually those aren't Mastodon tracks... 🫣. The location doesn't match. Most likely those are Trageasperon. They would match the location as well as the stride. I was on an excavation just miles from that location in 1988 and found not only tracks but complete skeletons in another river.

All those people buried under the new sediment, I can’t help but think about how that’s exactly what happened to the things prehistoric that we find today. Just suddenly swept away by a flood with no chance to escape. It’s such a surreal feeling to think one day in the far off future those people will be discovered and possibly studied. I wonder if our historical record s will still be available 100s of thousands of years into the future or will they be considered a mystery while people speculate on what happened to them

It would be nice if commentators could remember that not everyone has the same experiences and education as others. Let them be excited.

Right there in downtown Kerrville there are 3 toed dinosaur tracks on the south east side of the bridge. They've been covered for years but used to be visible when I was a kid.

That's not new. In elementary school, we went there and made plaster molds of the tracks.

that's concrete I don't think those are mastodon foot prints the people in that time I don't think had the ability to make concrete now it could be that dinosaur's did not die off as late as they say could it be the Bible was telling the truth about Earth only being 6000 years old give or take a few thousand years
