Most times when the wire is broken it trips the breaker and won’t reset, so if you can’t turn the breaker on this tool won’t work

New Generation??? This is a toner. I was using this as a cable man in the early 2000's. But still a must have tool.

I have been using a toner and pickle since the 1980s. They can be useful but its not magic. Conductance and transfer over long parallel runs can be really frustrating. Get one for sure but its got limitations.
