When did you apply for this job? Straight out of college, while you were still in school, or what. I’m a senior this year and unsure when I should start applying/looking

what type of office work is involved with environmental science? I plan to go into renewable resource management and then do my bachelor's in ecosystem management.

hi! I have a question, I'm a hs senior in the fall and I really want to get into environmental sciences eventually, but the college I'm going to go to offers either conservation and sustainability or biology as the closest majors until I go to a different college, what would be the best foundation for an associates out of those two?

Check state park/national park listings as well! My first environmental science job while I was still in college getting my degree was as a environmental educator for a local state park and it was the most fun job I’ve ever had :)

look at job listings for natural resources/parks and rec for state parks! those jobs have to get back to you even if it’s a rejection, so it keeps morale up more than getting ghosted a billion times. -current state park ranger assistant

Check Society of Wetland Scientists also and while in college attend the career fairs. particularly Engineering career fairs to make connections with firms that me be hiring or looking for environmental interns. The folks representing the firms are usually briefed on all open positions/internships.

The Sawtooth Interprative and Historical Association always needs people every year, they also provide housing! You get to teach people about LNT principles, wilderness safety, and do programs of your choosing with the public. I did it the summer of 23 and 24 and it was amazing. My heart is in the Sawtooth NRA.

If your area has an environment professionals association they may have a job board like the one near me! They’re usually by large cities or areas of a state, like Birmingham, Nashville, central AL, South GA, etc.
