“Genuine leather” just means it contains some leather, not that it’s made with high quality leather. It’s an intentionally misleading marketing term. That doesn’t take away from it being super cute, or that it wasn’t a steal to get it for so cheap though!

We had a couch do this too, and it was really cheaply made like Article, their stuff is crap. We only buy vintage now. Cheaper to buy and have reupholstered with quality construction.
