My aunt Lynda said when she was a kid they lived up on Walnut Mountain. The only way in and out of there back then was their horses. She was playing in the woods and she heard someone calling her name. She thought it was her sister, Carolyn and as she got closer to the sound she saw a bobcat. It chased her home and she said it hit the screen door right as she got inside. There are still cats up in these mountains today.
