One time a Waymo was behind waiting to turn left I guess it got tired of waiting for the pedestrians to finish crossing and it went around me and made the left turn I front of me almost hitting the people

I once saw three waiting behind a tow truck loading up a broken down vehicle. Took waymo a while to figure it out

OK I understand the anger towards the vehicle but why aren't there any traffic control? if this is in california the officers are in violation by not properly controlling that intersection.

Why is Waymo programming their cars to make improper, illegal turns like that instead of turning into the nearest lane & change lanes later like you’re supposed to? If it had made a proper turn then this wouldn’t have happened.

Self-driving semi-trucks have been operating and testing in Arizona since at least 2017, with a focus on freeways and highways around Phoenix. Companies like TuSimple and Waymo have been actively testing their autonomous trucks in the state, including on I-10 between Tucson and Phoenix. While some tests have involved human safety operators, others have involved completely driverless runs.
