The issue is not baptism , the issue is James believed Abraham was justified by works . Paul said it was by faith . James was not talking about justification before men either . Acts 21 shows very clear that James was teaching law .

Sir, You need to talk with a mid acts Dispensationalist to understand what we believe. you have only said part truths here, Strawman. if you believe what your bible say without presuppositions, you will be a mid Acts Dispensationalist too. grace and peace. btw gentiles could also be saved in the prophetic program but in a specific way. one Baptism today is Spiritual baptism, not water. search it out. if u like water, that's ok but that's not the gospel today.

I've never heard this argument before!!! Thank you for clearing this up.. I never saw a difference between Peter and Paul's teachings... he fled the scene fairly quickly to go hide.

The mixing up of doctrines is what has caused tens of thousands of denominations today. The Bible is clear and literal and easy to understand if we take it for what it says and not presuppose ideas into the scriptures. Baptism does not always equal water, there are different churches in scriptures, there are different good news or gospels in scriptures, we can not cherry pick. Jesus was born under the law and in his earthly ministry taught the law, u can not take part and leave out some. If you study this out you will notice the 12 disciples were sent only to Jews and the far off Jews(lost sheep), they only talked to certain gentiles(devout/ God fearing ones, Peter needed a vision to go to one!) and even after that Acts 11:19.. read. Jews and gentiles being in one Body was a mystery even Peter had a hard time understanding 2 Pet 3:16. Grace and Peace ❤️✝️

James in acts 21 told Paul and others to keep the law and do 7 days of purification. The original 12 was adding law to free grace . I used to believe exactly like you . Ephesians 3 says Paul’s revelation had never been taught . Luke 18 , Christ tried to tell the disciples about his death burial and resurrection ( Pauline revelation ) but scripture says they understood it not for it was his from them .
