there were only a couple of queer authors last year! I also attended romcon last year as well and it was amazing but very disappointed in the way they handled things. I will still be attending if they do not refund my premium ticket. I would still love to meet the indie authors that will be attending 😊 but yes they need to definitely do better! but I will be emailing them as well!

Even if you don’t go to the event, if you’re already out the money for the plane tickets and hotel, then maybe consider still going on a vacation & enjoying a trip to that city & time with your friend for a weekend

I wish we were still going under better circumstances! The event is so far from what was originally advertised at this point it’s a joke and everyone should be refunded and the event canceled outright. Take the L and try again after some serious reflecting.

We were carrying every single authors’ book who were there at Romance con. (Minus Indie authors who sell their own). We didn’t have any books of authors not attending.

how utterly disappointing but sadly very unsurprising for some fans of *that* series. could you change your plane ticket to a new time and location for another holiday later in the year? there's usually a fee but it's better than losing the whole fare, especially if you already have other things in the pipeline you could use it for.
