As a teacher, I don't use my cellphone, per sé, unless a parent or admin calls/ text me. I have to have my eyes on the students. , however, we are adults. We are not the ones taking a mandated exam or the ones haveing t pl oaybatrention to learn, but teach so you can learn. When student have phones they tend to be distracted and WE as teacher are then told its our fault because the student didn't pay attention. Furthermore, we also suffer because the states blames the teacher for low scores, low scores due to technology distraction. Inam sure toy can wait for after school to have your fun. Case in point your baseball. Do you leave the classroom to go play baseball? , I'm sure you do not and toynare ok. Just stay focused and don't let something minuscule in life determine your life ahead. Knowledge is not free, you have to PAY Atrention, I read that quote somewhere and I love to cite /reference it.
