Since many of yall are commenting about the deleted scenes: You can watch them on YouTube by searching “The Perks of Being a Wallflower Deleted Scenes”. There is one video that is about 23 min, and then some other short vids w/some clips!

As sad as it makes me that we didn’t get to see some of these scenes in the final cut this is the one book to movie adaptation where I feel okay with that because the author of the novel both wrote the screenplay and directed this film. All of the artistic choices and changes were made with integrity as they were done by the source materials author!! And even more importantly they were done with reason, stephen chbosky wanted this story to be able to reach and help as many people as possible and some of these scenes would have unfortunately bumped this films rating above PG-13 cutting out the key audience of people who should be seeing it 🤗
