Like heck, things have been inconsistent ever since after a new hope or the OG Star Wars was created. Lightsaber wonds and blood, kenobi, Luke, Leia & Vader’s ages, Chewie’s background, greedo & Han’s who fired first, Jabba’s species, heck, if we had the internet like today when the OT released, people would call the relationship for Vader, Leia & Luke & retconning Kenobi as “lazy writing”

“It breaks the lore” is almost ALWAYS used an excuse to cover up the real reason they don’t like the content. Just be honest about why you don’t like it, instead of beating around the bush.

to me the whole Taungs species and stuff with Mandalore doesn't break the current lore along with the Dral'Han which i do believe it's one of the reasons people support the Ruusan reformation because if I have my dates right both events could have happened at the same time or close to each other what I'm upset about is the destruction of the Oyu'baat Cantina which is a Mandalorian historical site and could have been where Satine Kryze and Obi-wan first got introduced to each other and where the Alor'a Aka'liit got formed
