No e-transfers or e-bill paying in the States? WOW. The only time I go to the bank is when I want to make changes regard my investements and even... I often use e-signing. LOL I do not even use bank machines. Believe me, once you will get use to it, you will love it. Such a time saver and stamp saver. 😉

If you don’t want to answer, just ignore this question. Did you have a gun in Florida? My son is in the Canadian army reserves. When he & his wife went to Vegas/ Grand Canyon, he said it was so uncomfortable with so many open carry people on the streets of Vegas.

I recently bought Chapmans Butter Tart ice-cream based on a suggestion. I was extremely disappointed to find it had raisins. I still ate it, but left all the raisins behind. 😂

Did you know that Canada was actually at war with the Kingdom of Denmark for almost 50 years? The war only ended ~2 years ago in ‘22. It actually got pretty intense there for a while and some poor behaviour by both sides took place. We really weren’t sure who was going to be victorious but most of the world wasn’t even aware it was being fought

lol...the raisin/non raisin war made me giggle. Obviously us, the raisin ppl, are right. I'm glad you mentioned recycling. I always found it so weird, the few times I was in the US, I had to throw my empty water bottles, cans, etc in the garbage when we were out. It felt weird! I'm happy to hear you feel safe, that makes me very proud. That's definitely something we value, even though most of us take it for granted. Not that bad things don't happen, just not on the same level as what you're accustomed to. Oh, and enjoy those long summer nights, they're amazing!

Can you talk about the differences in schools? I heard you’re advised to get your children bulletproof backpacks, no light up shoes or brightly coloured jackets etc. is all that true? Are you happy with the education your children are receiving here?
