@jackijing: KPop Demon Hunters Celine is one of the most fascinating characters to me. She is principled and dedicated to protecting the world and the ones she loves. She wants to be strong — show no weakness, no insecurity — because she is so *insecure about FAILING. She hides her fear and doubts, she hides parts of herself — and teaches the girls to hide parts of themselves to appear stronger. That hiding, that lack of vulnerability nearly destroys everything — all their hard work over decades — and led her to FAILING Rumi. We don’t know what happened to Rumi’s mom, but I felt as though Celine felt like she FAILED Rumi’s mom too. We never saw Rumi and Celine reunite in the end— in my mind Celine realizes she failed her friend and her daughter and it’s time to stop hiding and talk about that trauma and pain, I hope they reconcile and Celine learns from Rumi, you must entirely be yourself, flaws and scars and all, or it will eventually catch up with you… or maybe I am just spending way too much time thinking about this movie LOL #kpopdemonhunters #kpop
