It’s been very frustrating as a pro Palestine Jew getting hate from both sides. Ultimately my problems with individuals within the movement won’t make me lose sight of what’s important, but it’s still sad nonetheless to find a community supposedly interested in collective liberation not be able to live up to what that entails

It's awesome that you have been relatively isolated from this in Tulsa, and a testament to the good people of Oklahoma. Unfortunately, you may find that scapegoating Jews is the driving force behind a shocking amount of activism. Capitalists blame Jews for Communism, and Communists blame Jews for Capitalism. i totally agree, we should be skeptical and critical of right wing voices who criticize and attack israel because their intention r likely coming from a place of antisemitism rather than being against settler colonial violence. Ppl in the pro palestine movement have been quick to platform candace owens and tucker carlson even tho they are pedaling the dangerous idea that “israel controls us” rather than the other way around because they belive that the united states is an innocent party being taken advantage of rather than being the one at the wheel
