John Fogerty was the genius - His brother Tom passed away about 30 years back, and the other two (Doug Clifford and Stu Cook) now play in a cover band called Creedence Revisited) - Fogerty, like Sting in his band, was THE songwriter. Everyone else who did songs really went no where.

My first concert, and one of my first albums along with Bayou Country and Rare Earth, Get Ready. Ramble Tamble is my favorite song from this one.

Grew up on this album courtesy older brother Still a great listen 50 years later agree with comments that John Fogarty’s solo work doesn’t match though Centrefield is great as a sports song

I always loved what Bruce Springsteen said when he inducted CCR into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame: “They were never the coolest band, just the best.”100 % true. Travelin’ Band is my favorite tune on here.
