i’m not usually one to do this but come on it’s not that deep. No one is saying it’s the biggest problem in the world just that’s it’s annoying (especially if you have anxiety and don’t like making a fuss in class or whatever) and they’re not looking forward to it

Fr, and the wave of gender dysphoria and sadness that hits me when I tell my professors my preferred name because I can have my preferred name as my name on college documents for safety reasons. But sure Abby it’s so embarrassing to tell your teacher you go by a nickname 🫠

personally as someone with very very bad social anxiety this is not the point of the trend. some of us have silent issues that we don’t deal with and i resonate very deeply with this trend because it’s hard for me to speak to roles of authority. i feel like yall take things way out of proportion and try to make things something is isn’t constantly. not everything has to be so bleak and dark. we all struggle differently and we shouldn’t judge others.
