People saying Shinobu is the weakest Hashira clearly missed the point. She literally made up for her lack of physical strength by mastering poison, speed, and strategy. She fought Douma, an Upper Moon, head-on with zero hesitation, and without even awakening a mark. She ain't weak, she just built different.

It's baffling to me that people equate being the weakest physically with being the weakest in general. Yes, Shinobu is the weakest hashira PHYSICALLY, she can't cut off demon's heads, that's why she created a whole another breathing style to circumvent that weakness, created a poison that can kill them without beheading them, and exploited her speed and piercing attacks instead of slashing attacks. This fight against Douma gives her better feats than both Rengoku and Tengen, in a fight she's blitzing them, even if they're "physically stronger", she fought ALONE against UM2, whose ability is literally a hard counter to breathing styles, WITH NO MARK, STW, RED BLADE or anything like that.

I luv how smart she is, she knew exactly how much time she should buy for kanae to arrive. and guys, she was never close on killling douma, douma kills her venoms with a simple cold, if we base on instinct, iq, agility, shinobou has it all, but when talking about strength? she's half way through it. but what's clever was, eversince from the very beginning, she was well aware that her venoms will never kill douma, so she cooperated with tamayo and made a potion or something to weaken douma (made the demons back to human form) by letting herself be devoured. on the other hand, kanao's her strength. that's all, kanao owns every single strength, but tamayo and shinobou's the GOAT in the entire castle arc to the rising arc. nyah, nyah, blah, blah
