he aaalwayyyys told me he had such a high tolerance for things. and it always annoyed me how nonchalant he acted. & i was convinced that since he said he’s like that but w how he is w me it’s more like he has a high tolerance or any and everyone BUT me? becuase of any time id bring up any conflict or feeling even if it was gently. i’m NOW realizing that his “high tolerance” is just emotional avoidance.

my ex is more fearful avoidant but he has dismissive tendencies. he can't manage stress at all. when he's under big pressure the relationship and my needs have been going to the back burner. he broke up with me 3 days after telling me I'm the one and he has my back, broke up with me few hrs after telling me he's glad he's my partner. One conversation where my answer wasn't what he wanted to hear and I confronted him, he broke up with me in a way that kinda looked like a panic attack and ghosted me for over 2 weeks. we have had the closure talk after this but he seemed to be in his ego and kindly pushing me away but keep the doors a bit open by staying friends on Facebook. now he's posting stories on Facebook regularly. I posted one in over 2 months since breakup, he and his best friend watched it 💀 the breakup shattered my soul and I know he has good heart and needs to heal from avoidance but I don't think he's gonna choose it. I'm not gonna make a happy family with an unhealed avoidant, I'm just healing from the breakup knowing I deserve emotionally available partner.
