They think the mistreatment done to black people (especially black women) is a norm. When ever they find someone conventionally attractive (and that someone experiences something) they are permanently put in a victim category even when they do oddly racist things. Desirability politics.

I agree this is rooted in history black men were depicted in propaganda as agressive or “sexual deviants” as u said and it’s still a stereotype today. And I also found a lot of her behavior odd as well many instances of coercion and things that would normally be considered SH.
