Also where are they getting this righteous indignation about participating in the primaries?? Are they forgetting 45 LITERALLY Sat the primary debates and campaigning out?? He was like wake me up when it’s time to nominate me at the convention, taking all his base for granted. And hell if he was spot on with him knowing he could!!! they let him take them for granted by not even bothering to campaign in the primaries.

the Richard Nixon/Gerald Ford comparison is pretty funny tho because in 1972 Nixon 's running mate was Spiro Agnew, who resigned in disgrace in 1973.

Gerald Ford was not Nixon's running mate in 1972. That was Spiro Agnew. He resigned ahead of Nixon, and Ford was appointed VP, and then he became president when Nixon stepped down.

I remember talking to my dad about McCain/Palin. I said "I wont vote for him because he won't make it his whole term & we're stuck with her" and it was like the first time he'd realized that. I voted Biden knowing the same thing & BEING OK WITH HER.
