I can share why they said this. All the ancient knowledge around us trusting our bodies and the innate ability for our bodies to heal in relationship with nature died. It took hundreds of years for women to have ownership over their bodies again. The amount of herbal knowledge, midwifery, “old wives takes” and then men ONlY being able to be doctors. Our medical system is made to keep people un well. So they are saying all the advances in medical history are still no where near even TCM. We lost a lot of knowledgeable women, who lived in relationship with nature and healing.

Why the heck is the MEDICAL FIELD an INDUSTRY in the first place?? Medical care is a basic necessity, it shouldn’t literally cost you your soul to be healthy. (I know why it’s an industry, I just think the answer is ridiculous. Cruelty became profitable and empathy became a sin)

most the women killed during Salem witch trials were women minding their own business, women who told a man "no" to his advances, and women who died b/c some lady got mad at them because her husband has wandering eyes, and probably women who were killed b/c they dared to question their husband's infidelity, and women who made priests just hated b/c they dared to make money doing work that they deemed not women's work. no ancient knowledge was lost, just a bunch of independent, non-subservient, self-sufficient, innocent women just existing.

I want to know why people think a ton of people unalived in the trials (a few did obviously) but TONS of people were accused and most of them just because other people were afraid, not even because they used herbs, everyone used herbs then.

I feel like people forget that it wasn’t witches who were killed during the Salem witch trials…women were quite literally getting accused for 0 reason whatsoever and people just ran with it out of mass hysteria 💀 the Salem witch trials were not an attack on witches. They were an attack on women

....there was alot of politics involved in the witch trials. it was as much religious fervor we're taught it was. the church was the law back than. it was a tool used by men to steal land from widows and spinster. sure there was more than a few that were wise women of woods so to speak, but again alot of it was about acquiring assets. it's all still absolutely horrible and those women suffered all the same.
