Its not even that good either, the image generators are simultaneously too random and too consistent, and the story generators are amateurish at best, ive seen some decent stuff when it comes to music, but it always has lots of involvement from the person creating it, while the ai slop channels are just *insert genre* noise, which can serve a purpose, for example listing to some metal noise while playing an fps to keep the aggressive mokd that listening to real music cant always manage, but theres just no soul there.

I drove a marathon yesterday, and yeah, even I'm not impressed, lol. AI art is placeholders, or what you use to give an artist a reference when you're like me and can't draw cohesive stick figures. it's not art, it's a tool of last resort.

Pretty much. It's wanting a product but having no love for the craft. Everything it makes is soulless and has nothing truly memorable or worth loving. And there can be nothing new or innovative because it's always made using stolen real art, only pale imitation from a generative algorithm.
