Also 30-45 min. No Destin but No need for a road trip or an expensive stay. There are actually some hidden areas with clearer water than others. And the restaurants are the bomb!!! Love Galveston.

How miserable was the heat? Be honest. we are currently planning on going next week but my youngest is 1. Also have a 6,10, and 15 year old.
