I think they were referencing this one YouTuber who made like a joke voice over series where like power is homophobic and yelling at Kobeni calling her a lesbian and a Lebanon and until Kobeni snaps and calls power gay with power liking Kobeni she’s just very self hating and in the closet

There was a tumblr post about this - on how people don't realize that the internet and real life are different and that in real life its still kinda dangerous to be openly LGBT in some spaces. They gave examples but it was essentially being like "do not out people in public, do not ask if they're gay or suggest that they are because you don't know if they're in a safe place to be outed" (one of the examples was someone loudly asking if they were gay in a really conservative area where they didn't even feel safe holding hands with their S/O)
