Many many people live with congestive heart failure for many many years. But I don’t buy that it’s only that. I believe he has also edema in his legs. I just had a client who had vascular issues and a simple toenail removal ended up in a toe amputation. Another client of mine lost his legs. Just sharing.

"Not an expert" and "if you lnow you know" does not qualify you to make diagnosis. Bilatetal swelling of the ankles can come from many causes (eg liver and kidney failure) not just CHF. If it looks like yours, maybe he's pregnant.

I am 71 and I have had chf for 9 years . I'm in great shape but I take meds the rest of my life for it ,eat a healthy diet and exercise a lot .

Fact: 70% of the blood in the brain is in the venous system. If venous outflow disturbance exists it can turn the brain into a clogged toilet and potentially cause a cascade of neuro-catastrophic symptoms.

Congestive heart here. My ox was 26 plus they drew 2l42lbs of water off my heart. 30 days hospital out cuz Dr's wouldn't give up ot my hubby. YES MINE LOOKED LIKE THAT N PEE CONSTANTLY. YUP
