On the flipside of this, Disney would never allow you to experience seeing active construction and ruin the immersion of your experience, which is just as valuable if I just want roller coasters I’d be at Six Flags or Busch Gardens. I go to theme parks for the entire experience.

Hands down Universal is king of coasters but Disney is a much better vacation operation. The queue experience is much better at Disney, much cooler and there are a lot more places to eat

Universal uses prefab rides which can be simply disassembled, Disney builds their attraction out so a lot of structure which give their attractions their uniqueness have to be demo’s before the land can be cleared. It’s not the flex you think it is

Disney thinks of the experience and story more than the construction time. Making sure it looks good and you don’t see a pile of dirt while riding a ride

You would ever I. Your life see a pile of dirt from ground level at Disney. That’s why they wait. Never would you actually see construction happening. Universal doesn’t care. What Unicersal is doing of efficiant, but it’s ugly as sin. Appearance is everything at Disney, Unicersal clearly doesn’t care as much about that. And, they’re both now the same price. Don’t save a dime going to Universal.
