I work both shifts depending on the day, and- morning shift makes me feel like I've been productive and im relaxed night shift makes me feel like a greasy raccoon that screams the second a light is flashed at him

Why are we complaining about working normal hours. Sounds nice. I work actual night shift. Graveyard shift. I have to sleep all day so guess what getting stuff done is even harder than you all are complaining about. Idk it kinda pisses me off. I’m tired all the time and don’t have time for anything for myself. You all still can do things.

i used to work 5am-1pm and waking up at 4am to be there at 5 was rooooough. until I clocked out like yeeeeeah clocking out mid rush that I don't have to deal with is so nice & I have the whole day to do x y or z

I’m personally jealous of morning shift people that can do things after their shifts, cuz I mostly work mornings and when I get home, I immediately nap cuz I’m SO exhausted. And if I DON’T nap, I’m in a funk the rest of the day/night and I still don’t do anything cuz of it.. I literally can’t win 😂
