Go to San Borja District. Better than Miraflores. Also you can go to El Olivar Park in San Isidro. Amazing place.

Bro, if you’re only hanging out in Miraflores, you haven’t seen anything of Peru. You can’t say “This looks like a safe country” by only seeing Miraflores. Because Peru is not a safe country, and I’m Peruvian.

We don't say 'third world' countries anymore, we do say 'developing countries'. As people explained in the comments, 'a third world country' was a cold-war term for not-aligned countries with the USA or the URSS. And besides, you are in Miraflores, I live there too. And if you go to other districts at night, you could get hurt. Miraflores and San Isidro are the safest ones.
