Same! Adopted three littles through kinship foster care almost five years ago. Had one receptionist at a doctors office play twenty questions one night about it even though she was the one that handled their name changes when I got the updated birth certificates/social security cards. Turns out I wasn’t the only single mom she had been harrassing. I complained and found out that I was the last straw and she was on the verge of losing her job because of the number of complaints from her questioning things that were none of her business.
