Fertility rate is slowing down sa Ph. Last time I read it or saw it on the news. What r u talking about? Pinoys are getting smart on having kids nowadays even the older millennials are not having kids anymore nor getting married. Teen pregnancy however, parang marami pa rin dapat yan ang baguhin.

I learned a long time ago that family is really just between a child and their parents. Siblings—no matter how close you were as kids—are temporary guests in the house. Sooner or later, they become strangers with your last name. And I also learned that by the time your parents reach their 60s, they’ve become orphans too. If you want another temporary family, you’re expected to build one. That means getting married, starting over. But that was never an option for me. I’m asexual. I’ve never known how to entertain eros, how to pull that kind of bond into my life. So I gave up. Now, I only exist because I still have my family. After that, I quit.

I have also seen situations where daughters are married off at 18 or 19 from foreigners and the foreigners give them a BOATLOAD of money to her parents. I mean, she’s escaping from poverty and they’re receiving money.. so it’s a two-way thing.. but still…
