I have allowed my children to have girl boy sleep overs since they was 12. I also have allowed my daughter boyfriend move in when she was 16 but with that being said there was very strict rules and I can say we never had pregnancy scares on either side my daughter didn't get pregnant until she was 25. I would of rather had my children safe in the home than doing it out in the street. Its a conversation that everyone needs to have together. I have also always taught my kids age differences there are going to be a lot of things your sister can do that you can't do cause she is older and that's just life

both moms need to banned together and talk to girlfriends parents and dad. once they talk to girlfriends parents, sons going to dad and dad's going to confront them anyway.

all my kids have been allowed to have sleepovers with both boys & girls. but my husband & I a VERY active in our kids lives. we've always made it a point to show up in unexpected places at unexpected times. this not only made them aware that we could show up at the local hangout or their friends house, pop in their room or show up at school but we were also their excuse or "out" in a bad situation. "I can't do that, you KNOW as soon as I open that beer my mom will show up" kind of excuse. we raised 6 kids from birth to adults with no teen pregnancy, no rugs & no drinking. we also raised most of their friends. as a matter of fact we just dropped our youngest off at college and his best friend is still in his room. she's not leaving any time soon. but this sounds like a "party/friend" dad, not a mentor/concerned dad. and he's going to end up creating a situation when his sons going to have consequences he's not ready to handle.

bio mom and stepmother mom sit dad down and explain their concerns. also if girl that son is having in his room gets pregnant is dad going to help son pay child support? what if the girls parents press charges on the boy since they are under 18? I would also have both mom's talk to girls parents to let them know what's going on or be informed. her parents may or may not care. any visitors would be required in public spaces especially as opposite genders.

I don't understand why parents allow boyfriends and girlfriends to spend the night or go on vacations. It's just crazy. Way to young. Let them be young. Part of dating is missing them. I never allowed this. Bad parenting.

she definitely needs to call the girls parents, it's irresponsible not to and if she doesn't, any baby that comes from this is her fault as well even if it's at Dad's house

Call girlfriend's parents. Should bonus mom call them parents or just bio? Or maybe they both call them together. Girlfriend's parents might deny, but bonus mom verifies what bio is saying during the call. Tells them that this is happening at her house. And mention dad's opinion/attitude about this. He said, "They’re just kids". I don't agree with that.

My parents let me stay the night at my then boyfriends house when we were 16-17. And I’ll tell you what. We weren’t just sleeping. It a good idea. As an adult and parent now. I can’t believe that was allowed

I would handle this by having a patent meeting. my house, my exs AND girl friends house. "Let's all get on the same page about what is really going on between the homes. Not trying to dictate what goes on in what home but we should all have a clear idea of what is going on."

Honestly look at the parenting plan and what that legally says. There’s usually one or the other who has a majority custody. In my case, I have the majority. I do use it occasionally in moments like this. If that doesn’t work then do tell the gf parents.
