Hey I get all cute because planning outfits is part of the fun for me. When my kids were littles I’d sew boutique style dresses and appliqué shirts for them. Because it was fun. For me. I live in Ohio so Disney is probably more of an EVENT for us vs those lucky enough to go whenever they want. But TRUST- if I saw you having a great time at MK with low effort looks I would not even notice. Because I do things for me and don’t project that onto you (or any woman)

See the dolled up look is so fun for me, I see plenty of people on either end!! I love both. When I go back to the room, sometimes I get worn out and come back in a tshirt. It’s fun either way

It’s definitely not required but I just like feeling cute. I don’t judge anyone that doesn’t. 🤷🏻♀️I have a low effort, high pay off Disney routine. I do bubble braids or French braids that actually take me 5 minutes because I’m just efficient at them. I do a little concealer, sparkly eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and a little shimmery blush, which takes another 5 minutes because I’m practiced. Even if I’m not rushing, hair and make up is 15 minutes tops combined. I have 3 pairs of Minnie ears that match most of what I like to wear. So I grab a pair of those and throw on an athletic dress because it’s comfy. Ta-da! All done and it took very little effort and I feel good for photos.

Literally! I love a cute little outfit and matching my kids, but catch me in a ponytail, sneakers, and no makeup. I need to be ready for a splash pad or water ride with my kids

sooooooooo Im just gonna say as someone who does this. you may be comfortable in what you wear and how you go in. but we do this cause this is HOW we are COMFORTABLE. it is fun for me part of the magic. I like looking cute. There is no expectation. its just how we all feel.

I feel you as a person who’s not conventionally attractive either. I never dress up at home. But I love getting dressed up at Disney. I feel less judged being dressed up in Disney than being dressed up in a normal place.

I say wear whatever makes you feel best and will make you have the most magical day! Comfy cotton dresses are my favorite (with biker shorts) and Birkenstocks or sneakers. You can’t go wrong with a Disney shirt for any outfit!

We are 50/50. We usually have the family matching shirts because it brings me joy hahaha but some days us girls get dolled up and some days we don’t! Depends on the mood. You’re right. We do it for us because it’s fun and we don’t do it regularly at home. But when we are tired. We just roll in the park however we wake up 😂

I live here and my usual outfit is no makeup, tinted sunscreen, comfortable fit and my Disney hip bag. If we dress nice, its usually just a date night resort dinner. That's it. lol

I do sometimes makeup to the parks ☺️but my clothes are always athleisure and cute-comfortable. I just like to feel pretty for a place that makes me feel good and pretty. 😂 I almost never wear makeup anywhere else
