y'all know the human eye can see up to 3 miles as well right? we were tree climbers before (that's why we have pinkies) and we would use our far sight to find herds to look for a hunt on tree and mountain tops. It is the only reason vistas exist at all on highways.

I cant remember the degree exactly, but humans also have crazy far sight. difference being we are rarely in environments where we are taller than 90% of shrubbery or structures, so we dont use it as much, while T Rex would've been.
