Look at it this way you can’t do whatever you want in your Dads house reason being is because of order , discipline and respect and if you violate any three you might! still be welcomed but not to a cordial accommodated environment .This applies to anywhere you go in the world don’t be problematic after all discipline comes before Dominance!.

sybau were all human, nobody is as boot licking as you are. the policy is blatantly racist and absurd, it does not help mission productivity one single bit. You old heads love to suffer and then push that same tradition to your younger soldiers. We ain’t bout dat ish, we will get kicked out over it and when you sitting there busting your ssa as an e5 e6 because there’s no soldiers left you’ll be wondering where it all went wrong.

I agree with you. That is definitely not appropriate for a staff sergeant to tell other soldiers not to follow policies regulations and such life. As non-commissioned officers our job is to ensure that we hold the commanders intent and would we do otherwise it could be considered insubordinate conduct.

my thing is, the military has changed standards and rules to help and fits the times. Example, army changing the leg tuck to planks with planks since a large number of soldiers were failing

I am a SSG in the Army, waiting to finally get some help to be able to treat this condition. I have a permanent profile but i keep it as low as possible with the trimmer most of the time. Im also Latino not black. Anyone can get eventually get this condition, some more than others. We should focus on a solution to uphold the policy instead of combating against it. Ima leave my mustache though 😂 bold head and clean face ima look like Boricua Sins 🤣

Can I just put it to you this way: at one point in time, tattoos were not allowed in the military because they were not deemed professional. Now I see that you have a gaggle of tattoos, and it took soldiers / marines to prove that tattoos had nothing to do with professionalism. I do agree he could’ve put his words better; however, nobody, and I mean nobody, can be expected to be professional at all times, especially when the commander-in-chief is cursing on the news and taunting other countries via Twitter.

The beard policies are very targeting. When you have fat NCOs, Sr. NCOs, and officers walking around. Everyone overweight dancing on tik tok, officers walking around in military buildings with fat lips in, jr soldiers with hair tall as sky scrapers, Fort Hood still being the scariest installation ever, etc etc.Think you all have more pressing matters to attend to.

The policy doesn’t say you have to shave it, it’s says you need to be evaluated so your wrong…&& at the end of the day it’s a medical condition, only medical doctors have the discretion on medical conditions, I’ll die on that hill fighting back against the tyrannical military leadership
