He wants to be found guilty. He wants the title. I think he was concerned that the state wouldn’t be able to convict him so he’s taking the deal so ensure he gets the title he wants.

That’s pretty typical. The defense needs time to investigate and try to get evidence thrown out or introduce doubt however they can. When they tried everything they could and it was apparent the State’s evidence was solid and legally acquired then they change the plea. But they want to see the state’s case first
