I have always follow that saying up with be happy for what you have and not miserable for what you don’t have, and I have tried to live by that rule myself. For a peaceful home cooked meal with my family we have had beanie, weenies some nights and been so happy just to all be together

I literally just ate cold green beans out of a can......and I'm grateful!!! my kids ate a full dinner but that's what I had. best thing is we are together ❤️❤️❤️

alot of our aunts and grandmothers were stay at home moms caring for the kids, gardened, cleaned, ran errands, went to appointments and cooked. now it's more of a team effort to pay the bills, clean and cook.

Yes. I do most of the cooking and whatever I prepare my husband eats without complaint. If I want something he doesn't line, for example brown beans and cornbread, for him I'll usually do salmon and rice for him. That is a meal I don't care for. We help each other. We support each other. 7/26 we'll be married 11 years. He is my strength, my heart, my safe haven.
