I tried to mother my son (and daughter) giving space and independence with boundaries but being a cheerleader and supporter, my heart is always open for good or bad and I’m proud of the adults they have become. More than I feel I was given. I pray I have done a good job.

We have to raise our females better. Make her strong, train her like you would train a boy. I am sure that we will be stronger than ever. Teach her hunting, teach her strenght and foremost teach her independency. She will provide for herself. That alone will teach boys to respect her

In my case it’s the dad. My husband learned from his dad not to care or do much around the house cause that’s how his dad was. He’s gentle but he won’t do much around the house or offer to do anything. I work full time and run the household and he just wants to one of the kids just like his dad
