some old ps2 games triangle was jump. Shinobi ps2 and, I think, the first Devil May Cry (not 100% sure)had this configuration.that being said, I was going straight to button config immediately. 😂 but that was the mindset of older developers. it was the upper button so up, so jump.

I always use my “Zelda set up” which is how the set up closely relates to A=jump B=parry/dodge (dodge for Elden Ring) X=attack Y=run

On OW and Rivals I've been enjoying jump on my top left bumper. Whatever ability was there is A or X. Started when I got into a hover character like Echo. Couldn't hover using A or X while still being on the right stick. Kinda just caught on after that.

unless....X is the swap for weapon on the ground button and B melee button and Y is switch to secondary weapon. Jump is still A though.

for some reason the jump button is the top in some survival games Ex: Subnautica and I think it is in stranded deep aswell its weird 😭
