You were so close but just missed the point. We can go back over the finals. 2015 Bron was so far better than everyone else on the court that it was agrued that Lebron should’ve won the FMVP on a losing team. many people believed a healthy Cavs would’ve won that season. 2016 when Steph had the chance to prove that he was the guy and silence all doubters making it his league. He took a 73-9 team to the finals and LOST to LeBron. The warriors then admitted LeBron was on a different level and they could not beat him. The next two finals Curry arguably wasn’t the best player on his own team.

Steph was great, but the reason it got all the coverage was because it was shocking that a small guard was that good, not because he was better than Bron. After all, you can argue that Curry has never been the best in the world because he played in an era with Bron and KD, who were 1 and 2, respectively. The media was more shocked that Curry caught up not that he surpassed them. LeBron didn't surpass Kobe until 08-09 if we're being honest and by that time Kobe had solidified himself as the face of the league for half a decade

I just don't think it's fair to compare Steph to Bron at all. Steph has been a subpar defender his entire career and he's still the greatest pg of all time. We should give him all the credit in the world but basketball ain't just offense.
