Ok from a person living in Vegas spending extended time in a cooler climate: pants and layers. Layers are your friend. You don’t know how you’ll react and feel. Having a tank/tshirt with a longsleeve layer over it is key. Raincoat or umbrella smart. Bring thicker and thinner layers. Wear thicker on the plane. Look if it’ll be windy, that can play into how you’ll feel the cooler temps. Have fun!!!!

From one California girlie to another California girlie, you know how to layer. That weather isn’t too much cooler. I’d dress California (except definitely pants, not shorts) and then bring a sweater/zip-up that you can easily take off if it gets too warm. Also bring an umbrella or rain jacket (I didn’t own a rain jacket until I moved to the east coast but it’s a good investment. I still have my original rain jacket that I bought when I moved out east in 2011 so it’s a good staple to own.)

im back and forth between the south and New England all the time - layers. tank top, thin long sleeve, thicker long sleeve. you can wear all three or stash one (or both on a real nice day) in your bag and mix and match as needed. also, if it really is gonna be that rainy and you're not going to be back at your hotel a lot during a day - bring an extra pair of socks in your bag. wet, chilly feet are the worst ☹️

Definitely carry around an umbrella because you never know when it’ll start pouring but be careful not to obstruct anyone’s view, denim takes forever to dry so avoid that, also bring old shoes because you might be forced to walk through puddles or mud, wear clothes on the thicker side or layer your clothes, also have a bunch of fun race weekends in person are just awesome I can’t wait to see your content there :)

Highly recommend seeing Grand Place in Brussels. It’s great both day and night. The train station there also has a cool Smurf mural on one of the entry/exit walkway ceilings. There’s a million chocolate shops around there, Smurf statue, comic book murals, and museums if you have more time.
