dare I say that chb wasn't that great as people say, especially in the first books, people there looked at you strangely, whispered about you, and sometimes were even mean to others, they started to respect you and treat you like a normal person when you deserved it and did something for them

I love Thalia, but I always felt that Percy didn't really see camp as his HOME but as a DUTY, something he was always dragged to after school instead of having normal vacations, I feel like He always saw it that way and that's why when He had the full information of the prophecy He didn't go to camp for a year, not only because he wanted to live like a normal human focusing on things of his age or his mother but deep down He never wanted to be there and if it was something of His choice He would NEVER have gone again after the first book *if Grover hadn't been kidnapped*

He’s better than me. If I was throwing my whole childhood, dreams, MY LIFE that I may never get to live in full for a bunch of people who throw me to the side the minute someone “better” shows up, then I would’ve never helped them again. They can find someone else. Unfortunately because of who he is and the fatal flaw he has, Percy feels obligated to help regardless because the last time he didn’t he lost one of his best friends in his strongest domain.💔

I adore Thalia I felt that I understood her but seeing Percy be left behind while they went on quests and people switching to Thalia like he was a backup was lwk so evil and devious of Rick💔
