Go learn about economics first, if we made the minimum wage $50 per hour, do you think that prices would remain constant? No your Big Mac would cost about $79. Labor unions want the minimum wage raised because so many other contracts are tied to being paid an amount based upon it plus some percentage. Besides, the minimum wage is not intended to be the wage for a full time adult worker with marketable skills

Minimum wage jobs are not meant for people to support a person. Flipping burgers was meant to be a job for teenagers etc. now people are tying to support 8 kids
