I'm seeing people debating whether he did or didn't do what he was accused of. it doesn't matter what he did or didn't do. it doesn't justify this horrific act. crimes should be dealt with by the justice system. we don't endorse people enacting their own violent retribution. otherwise, what is to stop anyone from accusing anyone of anything and assaulting or killing them? we need to have a process of justice. we need to support our systems of justice and democracy. otherwise we have no safety, no structure, no society. there is no justification. there is no excuse.

This is devastating. People solely blaming the government are using that excuse as a cop out. Racism is in the home, in the schools, I the judicial system, in the healthcare system. Society has a collective responsibility for the rise in racism. Including those hosting racist lives and befriending racists on TT. My sincere condolences to the victims including the lady speaking, no one should be subjected to this.

Its the governments fault, the politicians fault. Its there fault for allowing undocumented freeloaders in and giving them everything and more above the Irish people themselves. Its the governments fault creating a two tear system. it forments resentment and hatred and they know it. I have never blamed the refugee or migrants, as the government invited them. There are no words.. I’m in shock after listening to your account. What a brave kind soul you are and not a bystander but his guardian angel. It sickens me to the pit of my stomach to hear these stories. We try so hard to educate these children about diversity in our schools but it needs to start at home. No child is born racist.
