I used to live in South America and dated someone from Chile (and Chilean Spanish/accented English is already pretty distinctive) and he had learned English in Australia so he had a Chilean Australian accent in English. And his Australian bestie spoke Spanish with an Australian accent, it was so fun to listen to them speak. As a Californian I mostly had only heard California/Mexican Spanish up to that point! And now I’m bilingual but with a pretty distinctive Bolivian accent en español lol.
