The ammount of vanity and entitlement, usually tend to prevent taking such advice, because younger generations are raised without any kind of standards, that are needed to have a reasonable degree of self reflection, hence correction.

Women shouldn't lower their standards at all. It's in men's best interest that they don't. When women get in a relationship with a guy who they think they're "settling" for, they treat that guy like absolute shit. They'll be bitter and resentful in the belief they should've got better, and they will cheat and leave the second she thinks she can get a "better" guy.
