maybe try to add darker shadows I saw a video that said you can turn your drawing to grayscale and then add shadows the places that have the same or similar shades and it made the drawing look more finished.

It's because you didn't draw him pregnant. (jk! but I always recommend artist on YouTube Fungzau! She does a lot of studies and explains it as she does them. Her shading is more realistic, but it rlly helps! Plus she mostly draws hoyo men, haha. And she's entertaining to watch)

Not gonna tell you if this is the right choice or not but maybe light shading as well as a background to go with it, like shading to go with the light perspective of the background, sounds a bit weird but I hope you understand what I’m saying even if it doesn’t make much sense
