We don’t do it that way. We use bank money, pay the mortgage and make sure we net off at a really good income. With that net income, we purchase another property. I just gave a free class in Realestate investing. You are wrong.

The dumbest thing I've heard,rich people don't do that they take out mortgages for two or three properties with that 800,000 being a deposit for all three and by the end of 20 or 30 years they would have paid up all three of these properties instead of just owning one over the period of 20 or 30 years.

Totally disagree! Why would anyone buy a house cash $1,million turn around and take a line of credit? Mortgage rate is the lowest in finance. Over draft and other short term loans are more expensive.

What percentage of the population are rich to buy a home upfront/in cash? Very little. While it is true that mortgage holders pay a lot on interest there are ways to reduce your interest payments and benefit from appreciation in the home value and equity. Mortgage isn't a scam!!!
