My dermatologist told me at first that surgery wasn't really an option. Now that I've been to her multiple times, she's saying it could be an option, but I have to stop flaring first.

I saw the doctor on here talking about how surgery is the answer not Humira. I’ve taken so many medications for this and none of them worked. Not even the pain meds. I went to my dermatologist appointment and my regular doctor wasn’t there. I saw a much younger, newer doctor and I brought up the TikTok doc to him and surgery being the only answer and we made a plan and I found a surgeon. I was in a whole lot of pain up to the date of the surgery. And after surgery, I had no pain on the side that was excised. Period. PERIOD! That man literally came into my life for a season, because after my surgery, he had moved on. I’m pain free now. I have to watch what I eat because dairy and white potatoes and a lot of sugar causes inflammation. I thank God for my old doctor being absent that day. I haven’t seen him either since. I pray it never returns. Hope that helps someone. ❤️
