The reason people read other scriptures is because they are looking for answers to questions they don't find in their own. Another reason is that they seek validation for their faith or don't recognize themselves in the teachings of their religion. They are then subtly still searching for the truth. This is a normal procedure for a soul seeking truth.
The interviewer's current mood is to find flaws in other religions. Through this, he hopes to find more support in his religion. In fact, you are still searching for the truth.
This lila (the Lord's pastime) he speaks of was performed by the Lord when he was seven years old and has several meanings.
Literally translated without interpretation, it means that the Lord here accepts the gopis as wives. In Vedic culture, a woman can only be seen naked or partially naked by her husband. The gopis' deepest desire was to have Krishna. Therefore, they are also eternal companions of the Lord, and through this pastime, the Lord accepts them as wives.
Others find in this lila a reason to reject Krishna as God, but they fail to consider that as a baby he also killed the demon (giant) Putana, lifted Govardhan Hill, and performed many deeds that cannot be imitated.
The beauty of the Vedic culture, Sanatan Dharma, is not criticizing other religions, nor defending its God or religion. Expansion or converting has never been a goal. Sanatan Dharma is a religion of tolerance and love for all living beings: humans, animals, plants, etc.
