Aberdeen is just a port, the oil is in the North Sea, most of the people that work offshore are English, I know as I worked offshore for 3 decades and I’m Scottish

Aberdeen had the oil but the Americans had the know how to get it out the ground at the time so it was never Aberdeens... the Americans, Norwegians and others all ran it our council were to blame, they should have made these huge companies pay
